I've been slacking on the gym the past two days. Yesterday I probably had a bigger excuse than I do today, but oh well, we all have those days where we fall back a few steps. The important thing is to move forward the next day. Start over.
Thursday morning, the day after my Day 1 workout, I was exhausted. Not just tired, but I mean full out exhausted. I couldn't even keep my eyes open to work on school work. So, I went back to bed and took a nap. That helped definitely. I was all set to start back at the gym today, but I woke up and fell back to sleep and just wanted to focus on my homework I had to finish. This wasn't a good enough excuse to skip out on the gym. Oh well, I'll just work on my motivation more tomorrow and force myself to go. I know that once I get there I will enjoy it and be glad I went.
My eating hasn't gone so well today either. But again, everyone has those days where they hit rough spots. I'll have to watch my portion sizes when I go to eat with Carolyn on Sunday and when I go out to eat for Valentine's Day with Annie on Tuesday. =] I will be successful in my journey to getting in shape. Without setbacks, there ultimately cannot be progress.
Bring it on Day 2 tomorrow! =] =]
